Yield Prophet® is proud to contribute to research projects which help to improve support for Australian farmers. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and we comply fully with the Australian Privacy Act (1988).

The individual information collected including your paddock soil details, crop details, climate data, fertiliser and irrigation applications and rainfall details is used for predicting crop growth and yield in a paddock specific environment.

Non-identifiable aggregated information may be disclosed to a relevant third party, such as a State or Federal research organizations or RDC, for research purposes only deemed beneficial to the Australian broadacre cropping industry by BCG and the Yield Prophet steering committee.

We charge a nominal fee to research organisations who wish to access our anonymised dataset, and this money is reinvested into the Yield Prophet® program to keep costs down for farmers and consultants.
